Stefan Hunstein

Actor, performance trainer, director and performance artist

Stefan Hunstein, who studied acting at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, has worked continuously at various municipal and state theatres since 1982, including Schauspielhaus Bochum, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel Munich, Münchner Kammerspiele, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Burgtheater Vienna, the Salzburg Festival and the Ruhr Triennale. Since 2003 he has been a member and since 2021 Director of the "Performing Arts" department at the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts.
