Executive Presence

Impact that begins before you speak.

Leadership strength is not a question of title. It is a question of presence — how you enter a room, how you hold silence, how you hold your ground when everything is working against you.

The most compelling leaders share one quality: they do not need to be loud to be heard.

What this is about

Executive presence is what board members mean when they say "this person has the caliber." It is the sum of body language, voice, posture, timing, and authenticity — and it can be developed. Not by imitating a particular leadership archetype, but by sharpening your own distinctive impact.

SPARKPOINT has developed a training program that goes beyond classical rhetoric and presentation technique. We work on what executives often describe as "difficult to name, but immediately felt": gravitas, authority, command of a room. The capacity to be calm in a crisis — not because you are not taking it seriously, but because you have mastered it.

What is accompanied

Body language and non-verbal signals that radiate authority without dominating, voice and speaking pace under pressure, physical and mental presence in a room, navigating hierarchies — upward, sideways, downward, authenticity as a leadership instrument: strength without a mask.

Who it is for
  • CEOs and board members who want to consciously shape their impact
  • C-level executives ahead of the next career step
  • High-potentials moving into top management who want to secure the transition
  • Executives operating in international or multicultural environments
  • Anyone who senses that their perceived impact does not match their actual competence

Authenticity vs. adaptation: finding your own leadership personality

08

Video analysis and precise individual feedback in every session

Methode

Executive presence does not emerge from copying others — it emerges from deliberate work on your own impact. SPARKPOINT combines body-oriented techniques (breath, posture, movement) with rhetorical sharpening and psychological coaching. We film every practice session, analyze it together, and show you exactly where impact and intention diverge. The result is not a new role — but a stronger version of you.

Coaching modules

Modules & Formats

01

Body Language & Command of the Room

How you stand, walk, sit, and enter rooms — all of this communicates before you have said a single word. This module works on physical presence: posture, movement, distance, territoriality. The goal is body language that expresses security and leadership claim — without dominance theater.

02

Voice & Presence

The voice is the most important instrument of leadership communication — and the most neglected. This module works on resonance, pace, volume, and the deliberate use of silence. A voice that carries without pushing. That persuades without pressuring.

03

Gravitas & Authority

Gravitas is the capacity to be present in a room without having to impose yourself. It emerges from the combination of physical presence, linguistic precision, and the willingness to speak uncomfortable truths. We train the specific behaviors that generate gravitas — and those that undermine it.

04

Performing Under Pressure

How do you behave when everything is going worse than planned? When the question comes that you did not expect? When a board member publicly challenges you? This module trains the ability to stay grounded and present in high-pressure situations — not despite the pressure, but with it.

04

Authenticity & Leadership Impact

The most demanding module — and the most important. Leadership impact built on adaptation is fragile. We work on what defines you as a leader, what you need to protect, and how to deploy your distinctive impact in every situation — in the boardroom, with your team, in the public eye.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Can executive presence really be trained — or do you either have it or you don't?

+

It can be trained. Executive presence is not a personality trait you are born with or not — it is a set of learnable behaviors. What cannot be trained: becoming a different person. What can absolutely be trained: understanding your own impact, consciously shaping it, and unlearning behaviors that conceal your actual strength.

I am already at board level. Why should I work on my presence?

+

Especially at board level. The higher the position, the less honest feedback you receive — and the greater the influence of every single appearance. Top-level executives often have blind spots that no one has addressed for years. We address them. Not as criticism, but as leverage.

How does your training differ from a public speaking course?

+

Public speaking courses work primarily on what you say and how you structure it. We additionally work on how you are perceived — physically, vocally, energetically. Executive presence is 70 percent non-verbal. Language is the rest. Training both together is our approach.

Is this training also valuable for executives who already experience themselves as present?

+

Especially then. Those who already experience themselves as present often have a precise instinct for their own impact — but little tooling to deploy it even more deliberately. Our training sharpens what is already strong and identifies the few places where impact does not yet match potential.

How many sessions are needed to see a visible result?

+

First changes are often perceptible after a single session — especially when specific behaviors are addressed and practiced. A lasting result typically requires three to five sessions over a period of four to eight weeks. The gap between sessions is as important as the sessions themselves: it provides time to test the learning in real situations.
